What’s it cost to attend?
Just like previous years there will plenty of ways to support this great cause. You can vote for your favorite bears with cash, buy raffle tickets, write checks to the Bloomington Hospitsl Foundation, or donate online. Our motto is still “Drink Responsibly. Give Generously.” That being said, This year we will be asking for a $20 donation per person at the door. We think that’s a great deal for dinner, drinks and live music, and all for a great cause!
Who can attend this party?
For various practical (i.e. legal) reasons this is a “private” party. That being said the organizers of this party are giving out invites very generously. In fact we are inviting all of our friends, neighbors, colleagues, and acquaintances and are encouraging our friends to invite their friends. So if you are a friend of one of the organizers, or a friend of a friend of the organizers, or even a friend of a friend of a friend… OK, you get the idea! Just PLEASE RSVP on the right side of this page so we can be sure to have enough food and beverages for everyone – thanks!
This is an adult only party. We love kids, but we also love some time away from them!
What are we raising money for?
Brew The Cure honors those who have fought through breast cancer, and money raised assists the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) needs of breast cancer patients dealing with lymphedema. Through partnering with the Olcott Center, IU Health Bloomington Hospital Foundation, and IU Health Bloomington Hospital Rehabilitation Services, Brew the Cure proceeds will be utilized by providing initial funding for, or access to, two specific DME’s: 1) lymphedema compression sleeves, and 2) compression bandaging supplies, which are rarely covered by insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.
You can donate at anytime. At the party. Before the party. Now. In five minutes. You get the idea. Just click on the button on the right side of the page and pay securely through the Bloomington Hospital Foundation’s “Paypal Donate” button. Be sure to mention “Brew The Cure” in the “designation” field on the second page of the Paypal payment screen. Thanks!
